Lets talk about Sports Photography

01.

Timing and Anticipation

Understanding the nuances of the sport I am shooting is essential for predicting when and where pivotal moments will occur. Only with this knowledge can I position myself at the best possible angle to capture the most impactful shots.

02.

Storytelling Ability

Beyond action shots, it is important to be able to capture the emotion, struggle, and energy of the game. Moreover, we need to be able to tell a story through images.

03.

Passion and Persistence

Essentially, sports photography requires long hours, patience, and a deep love for the sport.

Otherwise, I would say that it is extremely hard to stay motivated through long event venues and often late nights just to get that perfect shot selection.
